Vision & Mission

Our Vision

The Society of Co-Passengers of Christ envisions a world completely transfigured by the love of Jesus, where the light of the Gospel penetrates the deepest spiritual and material dark corners of humanity. We look toward a global horizon where our Society, moving in absolute harmony with the universal Catholic Church, expands its missionary borders to every continent, building a vibrant global family of faith. Our ultimate aspiration is to ensure that the living waters of the Gospel flow freely to the ends of the earth, that the cry of the poor and marginalized is met with Christ-like compassion, and that the sacramental heartbeat of the Church never falters. We dream of a future where our presence across international frontiers serves as a living icon of the Road to Emmaus walking side-by-side with a searching world, revealing the face of Christ, and ensuring that no altar ever stands empty, but rather remains a burning furnace of divine grace for all peoples.

Our Mission

Driven by the urgent mandate of the Great Commission and the sacred spiritual heritage of our founder, Rev. Dr. Thomas George Valamparambil, our mission is to journey into the heart of the world to share the Good News and serve Christ in the most vulnerable of His brothers and sisters. Under the apostolic stewardship of our General Council and in faithful communion with our ecclesial shepherds, we dedicate our lives to the radical call of “Evangelization through self-effacing services.” We do not cross oceans or enter communities to seek worldly prominence or human applause; rather, we choose the path of holy hiddenness, consciously emptying ourselves so that the magnificent presence of Christ may shine through our work.

To fulfill this global calling, we actively cultivate, nurture, and dispatch holy, courageous vocations capable of sustaining the Church’s liturgical life and serving communities in desperate need. Whether through pastoral care, establishing vibrant missionary centers, or uplifting the poor through deeds of mercy, the Society of Co-Passengers of Christ pledges to be a constant, comforting presence on humanity's journey—fading into the background of our own labors so that Jesus alone is lifted up, loved, and adored by all.
